Mohan Joshi is a Film Maker, Playwright, Theater Artist. A Mass Communication Graduate from Makhan Lal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism, he has an interesting career spanning 15 years. He has been consistently involved in the fields of his interests ranging from film making, theatre to journalism and development sector. As a Film Maker, he has primarily done documentaries, direction and scripting of more than 50 films. He has written advertisement jingles and scripted advertisement films for both Corporate and Government Organizations. He also had a brief but interesting stint with UTV, World Disney as an Associate Producer.
He has done Screenplay Writing and Film Appreciation Course from FTII, Pune as well as Theatre appreciation course from National School of Drama.
In 2008 he was much appreciated for his play adaption for a Diploma Production for a NSD designing student. After that he has written, adapted and acted in more than 35 plays, which performed all across India.
His play Tamasha-E-Nautanki (written and acted) has been selected for many eminent theatre festivals including prestigious Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2016 and bagged best theatre production 2016 by Shahitya Kala Parishad, Delhi.
Another play “Journey of Sorrow’ has been selected for Theater Olympics 2018.
